How do I walk around the virtual world?

When you are in the virtual world environment you can use the WASD keys and the arrow keys to traverse the world.

How do I zoom into objects?

If you can zoom in on an object there will be a circular icon above the object with a plus sign at its centre. If you are on a PC, use your left mouse button to click on the icon to zoom in. If you are on a Mac, use your mouse to click on the icon to zoom in.

How do I zoom out?

Once you are zoomed in on an object, a circular icon with a minus sign will appear in the upper left hand corner of the virtual world. If you are on a PC, use your left mouse button to click on the icon to zoom in. If you are on a Mac, use your mouse to click on the icon to zoom in.

How do I sit down?

There are various chairs, benches and sofas located around The Coaches Centre. If you are on a PC, use your left mouse button to click on one of these Questions to sit. If you are on a Mac, use your mouse to click on one of these Questions to sit.

How do I stand up?

When you are seated, an icon will appear in the upper left corner of the virtual world that says 'Stand up'. If you are on a PC, use your left mouse button to click on the icon to stand. If you are on a Mac, use your mouse to click on the icon to stand.

How can I change my view?

If an alternate view is available an icon will be present. If you are on a PC, use your left mouse button to click on the icon to change your view. If you are on a Mac, use your mouse to click on the icon to change your view. To change your view back, click on the minus sign icon in the upper left hand corner of the virtual world.

What image formats are supported by the Virtual World Media Viewer?

The supported image format is JPG. The supported movie format is OGV (although we can convert some video types: mp4, m4v, avi, mov, and some others).

Vivox will not install?

Many Windows owners disable User Account Controls (UAC) in order to avoid annoying popups from the OS. Unfortunately, this causes the Vivox plugin installation to fail silently. If you think you might have UAC disabled, please temporarily re-enable UAC and re-install the Vivox plugin. Once the plugin is installed, you can re-disable UAC.
